As a part of the NRC Charity Awards, Sebastian and I were asked to create a print advert and an online banner for Join the Pipe; a charity organisation that sells sustainable water bottles, in order to fund ocean clean-ups and provide water to those without.
The goal of the advert was to make people think about what kind of bottles they use, and to get more people to carry reusable bottles in order to reduce our plastic consumption. Our approach was to present the reader with a little-known fact in an unconventional and attention grabbing way.
Sebastian and I created the strategy, concept, copy and art direction. The campaign was photographed by Bart Oomes.
The campaign won the first prize in the two main categories of the NRC Charity Awards: best print and best online banner.
